The patented technology includes the “CW CHOPPED” system and the “Z” algorithm which produces a quadrant scan that allows maximum cooling of the tissue adjacent to the spots, allowing more heat to be supplied to the tissue compared to competing technologies, thus determining a long-lasting results, reducing the risk of side effects and maximizing patient comfort.
At the same energy values, therefore, the “CW Chopped” technology produces a slightly lower ablation compared to the use of very short CO2 laser pulses (Superpulse or UltraPulse) but with greater residual thermal damage (RTD) and the creation of a additional layer of clot. This thin layer of highly coagulated tissue allows for a bleeding-free procedure.
Short Pulse (Superpulse o UltraPulse) Largely confines heat to target area creating maximum ablation
Long Pulse
Better conducts heat away from target area creating larger zone of thermal effect.
WHY YOU WANT MORE HEAT!
1.Dryer procedure (less bleeding):
● Lower risk of infection
● Improved visual field
● Better seal of nerve endings reducing post-op pain
● Increased coagulation of small lymphatic vessels reducing post-op edema
● Less patient anxiety after treatment
● Simplified post-care
2. Improved cosmetic result / short term & long term:
● More collagen production
● Greater skin tightening
● Higher scar reduction
